About City of Rest

Transforming lives through compassionate care and evidence-based treatment for over 36 years

Our Story

Founded in 1989, City of Rest began as a vision to create a place where individuals struggling with addiction could find not just treatment, but genuine hope and healing. What started as a small outpatient facility has grown into a comprehensive rehabilitation center that has helped over 5,000 individuals reclaim their lives.

Our founder, Pastor Morie  S. N’gobeh firsthand the devastating effects of addiction on families and communities. Driven by his passion for healing and his belief that every person deserves a second chance, he assembled a team of dedicated professionals who shared her vision of compassionate, evidence-based care.

Today, City of Rest stands as a beacon of hope in the recovery community, known for our innovative treatment approaches, exceptional success rates, and unwavering commitment to treating every individual with dignity and respect.

Our Mission

To provide comprehensive, compassionate addiction treatment that addresses the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—while empowering individuals and families to achieve lasting recovery and rebuild meaningful lives.

Our Vision

A world where addiction is met with understanding rather than stigma, where recovery is accessible to all, and where every person has the opportunity to heal, grow, and contribute positively to their community.
